Antique Art Nouveau 1902 silver earrings featuring Poseidon Greek God. Poseidon is the god of the sea and protector of seafarers in Greek mythology or Neptune in Roman mythology. The earrings depict Poseidon standing in a giant shell with is three-pronged trident staff surrounded by waves. Curiously Poseidon is the god of horses, it is said he created the first horse, on the earrings, there is a horse in the waves.

These earrings were converted from buttons into earrings by our expert Hatton Garden goldsmith.
